Four Coats of the Kingdom

The book of Genesis records Joseph as the eleventh son of Jacob who was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Yet he became the 2nd most powerful ruler of Egypt. When famine struck Israel, he brought the whole tribe of Jacob down to Egypt which then settled in Goshen. Joseph had four coats which illustrate situations and positions in life that he had experienced. His life is a prophetic picture given to us in Scripture. It is the journey of a believer on the path to fulfilling their destiny in God. Often times, believers have a dream from God, but don't recognize that their destiny is not a single destination; but it is a progressive prophetic journey into the land of promotion and promise.
