Prophetic Dream of North Korea’s Dictator Kim Jong Un: Prophet Charlie Shamp

We can see by a study of the Bible that God has many ways of communicating with His sons and daughters. Throughout the scriptures we see various ways in which God relayed detailed information about future events and situations for people and nations, things that He had set in order in the future for the benefit of mankind. One of His miraculous ways of speaking to us is through the avenue of dreams. The book of Job chapter thirty three describes how God speaks through dreams, "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword." (Job 33:14-18) 

God is always speaking, but it is our job to distinguish His ways of communication especially when it comes to delicate matters involving nations and world leaders. 

On March 5, 2018, I had one of the most fascinating and in depth dreams about Kim Jong Un and his sister Kim Yo-jong. In this dream a pristine 1953 white Cadillac Eldorado convertible pulled up in front of my home. Driving the car was none other then the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un. I walked out of my house to meet and greet him, it felt as though we had known each other for many many years and I was a close family friend. He came to show me the latest car that he had recently purchased. I jumped into the passenger seat and we were off cruising through the streets. While he seemed content to just want to talk about the car and life. I, on the other hand, was sent to discuss a much more important and delicate matter. While it was Kim driving the car in the dream I was directing him where to go. Unknown to him I had worked out a secret location with the United States government to open up a discussion between Kim and President Donald Trump. After awhile we finally reached our destination and he placed the car in park. Again, it seemed as though I had known this man for many years and that we were very close. I looked at Kim and said, "I have a most urgent matter I must discuss with you and this is why I have brought you here to this place." I told him that I had been working diligently with the CIA and the United States for many years relaying information concerning him and his family. He looked at me in shock as I disclosed many things to him about my dealings with the United States. I also spoke to him about several different options that the United States government was presently looking at to remove him from power, which I can not discuss in detail publicly in this prophetic word. I gave him several different options on how to precede in what was about to be a long negotiation with several different nations. Suddenly, he broke down and began to weep uncontrollably. We embraced and I began to speak of great change that needed to take place in North Korea if it was to survive. I told Kim of his destiny and purpose as not a dictator, but a liberator. That Jesus Christ was calling him to change his nation in one generation, to liberate the nation and break down the walls of separation between the North and South. We prayed together and he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. It was a sight to see, even his face was changed as liberty came! I reached into my pocket and pulled out my cellphone to make a call to President Donald Trump and the Pentagon, but my phone would not work. I tried several times to make the call, but they all failed. I even tried to take a picture of Kim and I together and send a text, but it would not go through.

The dream fades to another scene and I’m once again back at my house. Suddenly the scenario plays out again only this time it is Kim Yo-jong, his sister driving the car. The dream plays out again exactly the same with his sister and ending with me attempting to make connection with the United States government only to fail to make the call because of the cellphone. In the dream I found both him and his sister to be broken and wanting change for North Korea. It felt as though they were weary and hoped for a new day for the nation. I truly believe something shocking is coming from North Korea that none of us could have expected, but we must pray! 

Since this was a dream there were a few symbols that I feel were significant that I want to discuss in an attempt to draw out information for us to pray into over the next several months. We understand that there are layers within dreams, as well as there are three distinct pieces to anything God says. First, there is the initial revelation then there is the interpretation and finally there is the application. These three are essential in deciphering anything that God is saying. There are mainly two points of interest that I want to key in on. 

First, the automobile that was driven by both Kim and his sister,  the pristine 1953 white Cadillac Eldorado convertible, I believe is something significant. El Dorado is Spanish for “the golden one”, which would describe the position that Both Kim and his sister have been placed in as leaders of the nation. I believe overall the car represented the Nation of North Korea. Cadillacs often represent in dreams a decision making style that is focused on appearing impressive to others. This would make sense in the case of North Korea because they are always presenting the nation to others as a powerful force in the world. They have made a decision to deceive others into believing they have power when in fact the dynasty is very broken. They are at a crossroads and a decision must be made.

I believe the Convertible represents a change and conversion that can take place both with Kim, his sister and the nation as a whole. I believe it speaks to converts to Christianity and a possible open heaven coming over the nation of North Korea, this is God’s greatest desire! The color white and year of the car also is significant in that 1953 was the year of the cease fire and seemingly the end of the Korean war. I believe the Lord is wanting to wash away the pain of that war and bring a pure discussion of reunification of the North and South. 

Finally my greatest concern was this issue with the cellphone. It spoke to me deeply that the enemy would love to bring a miscommunication and cut communications between North Korea and America before a true discussion can be brought forth. I can even see hindrances being connected to the media and how they tend to twist things. I believe we are at a critical time in human history and we desperately need to pray this situation through to victory. We need to pray for the conversion of Kim and his sister to the Lord, as well as, pray all forms of communication stay open so that God’s will can come to pass for this nation. It is my deepest desire to see transformation for Korea. Please let us stay focused and pray through this dream and all that the Lord is speaking at this time.
