I saw Psalms 91 written in the city Chicago: Prophet Charlie Shamp
As I rested on my bed in the city of Gunsan, South Korea I was suddenly taken in the spirit to the city of Chicago, Illinois. The Lord took me through the streets of the city on an ark of Salvation. The ark floated down a dirty river filled with drug addiction, prostitution, governmental corruption and bloodshed. My heart began to break as I saw the depth of bondage many had been swept into. I could hear the cries of injustice coming up from this river. I could feel the pain of those that were bound by the power of sin and the spirit of death.
Suddenly up from the river came many faces of people of every skin color crying out to the Lord in repentance. I began to cast out a large net and pull many to safety aboard the ark of salvation. I heard a rumble and looked to see the blood of Jesus washing through the streets with a mighty force. It was a cleansing stream of fire that burned out every trace of sin and brought redemption and restoration. I heard the Lord say, “I am washing away the filth of the daughters of Zion and I will purge the bloodshed that is happening daily in Chicago. I will do this by the spirit of justice and by the spirit of burning. I will create upon every dwelling place and upon every assembly a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night, for upon this city the glory will be a defense. There will be a tabernacle of restoration raised up in this place for a shadow in the daytime from the heat and I will create a place of refuge for a shelter from the storms of life. It will be to me a sanctuary for those that have been broken by sin and I will bring restoration to them.”
I was then brought inside the ark which looked to be a massive auditorium where I saw many worshipping and giving their lives to the Lord. It was a massive crusade and all around me I saw incredible miracles happening. I heard the Lord say, “This place was once known as a madhouse, but I came to unite my house and from this place many will see my glory.” I was in awe of what I saw taking place all around me. Then the Lord spoke again, “Lift up your eyes, what do you see son of man?” I looked up and saw hanging suspended from the ceiling a white banner that had the number 91 written upon it. I said, “Lord I see a white banner with the number 91 written in red.”
The Lord said to me, “You have seen well; for when this banner hangs high from this spot it will be a sign for this city. A sign that my banner of Psalm 91 has come to rest upon this land. The bloodshed will stop and restoration will come. Many will be in awe of what will be done. For some have said that the bloodshed will never stop, but I will bring a outpouring of my presence in that day that this banner is suspended and raised up high. I will do a work that many won’t believe. I will do the unthinkable, the impossible, an unbelievable thing during that hour. I will save the one that wore this very number! I will wash him and many others in my Son’s blood from this place and their sins will be forgiven. I will wash way every guilt and every stain of sin. They will be white as snow. I will invade this place with power and miracles will come down in that hour.
Keep watch over my word that I have given you for it will surely come to pass. I will perform it in this city at the fulfillment of this sign. For in that day many will come to dwell in the secret place of the most High and they will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will be their refuge and their fortress, for many will turn to me in that day to put their trust in my son for salvation. I will cause this house to be united and turn it into my sanctuary, an ark of salvation. Chicago will be known as a city of my presence!”
